A small business team working together collaboratively

About Business Mind Connect

A modular, skills-based psychosocial hazards learning library for Australian employers.

What we are building

Business Mind Connect is being developed by The Brave Mind Project Pty Ltd to help small and medium businesses build practical capability around psychosocial risk. It is not a counselling service, a wellbeing app or a generic mental health campaign. It is a library of standalone, bite-sized modules on individual psychosocial hazards, which employers can use one at a time, group into bundles, or deliver as a complete workforce training pathway.

Leadership is an additional layer. It includes access to every workforce foundational module, then adds applied management content on consultation, hazard identification, risk controls, documentation, appropriate response and practical checklists, without repeating the foundational lessons.

Who it is for

The employer is the purchasing decision-maker. Workers and managers are the learners. The library is designed for small and medium businesses across industries — offices, retail, hospitality, trades, professional services, health services and more — particularly where there is no dedicated internal WHS or HR department. The hazards are common to most workplaces; the content is written plainly and applied to everyday work.

How the learning works

Every module teaches a skill rather than a body of theory: identify the hazard, understand its effects, then practise what to do in realistic scenarios. Learners complete a short knowledge self-reflection before and after each module. There are no diagnostic mental health tests, no clinical scoring and no personal mental health data.

Who builds it

Business Mind Connect is a product of The Brave Mind Project Pty Ltd (ABN 52 692 520 424). It is being developed by a team with experience in mental health, workplace health and safety, and business education. The content is grounded in Australian WHS legislation and recognised psychosocial hazard guidance, including ISO 45003:2021 and relevant codes of practice. It does not guarantee compliance and does not replace professional WHS, legal or HR advice.

Current status: Business Mind Connect is in development. We are talking with employers about pilot and licensing arrangements, and exploring delivery through employer LMS platforms and LearnWorlds. Our target for a first release is the end of January 2027. That is a target, not an assured launch date. Business Mind Connect is not an accredited or nationally recognised qualification.
